Having a blog does not mean you will get viewers. The common mistake is to put more effort into writing than on promotion. The more time you put into promoting your blogs the better. Here are some tips to promote your blogs even when you are running on a budget.
- Look for people who are actively sharing something. See what they are attracted to, analyse their behaviour. Also, if someone has shared your article once, chances are high they will do that again.
- Add links to posts of those who are writing similar content to yours. You can ask them to promote your blogs too. If you are linking your blog to that of an expert, it will help your readers to gain more knowledge about the product or the topic in general, also, if they link back to your blog, a certain number of their readers will come to your page too, adding to your number of readers.
An add-on to this point is that in a single post you can have multiple links to various blogs and not just one link. So, imagine the numbers if even half of the bloggers’ followers shared your article! It also works when it comes to companies. Just mention their products, and write to them stating how you drew inspiration from their good work and how much you would appreciate if they could share your blogs.
- Social Media Advertising works wonders in these cases. Using the analysing tools provided by the leading social media websites, you can target people who are interested in the topic of your specialization. You can further narrow it down to specific group of people depending on their locations, age groups, interests and likes.
- As we all know, headings or the headlines are what people focus on. This is why those blogs which generate curiosity in people just with their headings have more number of visitors in their blogs. We are not suggesting that you follow the same because it might not work in all cases. However, if you spend a little more time and effort into finding the right heading which generate interests in people, it will definitely generate more activity on your blogs.
